Class, check this out. This tiny site has six pages. While at first, it might not seem logical to have a text link at the bottom of the page for the page you are currently reading, it's worse to leave it out.
Why? Your site visitors need to have consistency! Leaving one link out of the list changes the position of the links from page to page. Just try to click quickly from one page to the next and you'll see how disconcerting it is.
When you add this navigation to your pages, leave all five links. When we do another navigation in another unit (soon!), you will need to do the same: keep 'em all. Remember to use character code for the "pipes" and to use relative URLs, not the really long absolute URLs.
So - try these links out! Can you remember where you've been? Is it easy to go from page to page quickly? If there is an ounce of confusion, it's too much (smile).
